Availability

StarForce DRM for this game does not work on modern versions of Windows (see above for affected versions).

Delete or rename movie files^[3]

Go to <path-to-game>\DATA\Video\.
Delete or rename 1c company (green eng).bik, plogo.bik, SpaceIntro.bik, and Xbow_Logo.bik.

SpaceIntro.bik provides an introductory narrative to the game, so players may wish to watch it at least once.

Run in Windows 98/Me compatibility mode as an administrator^[4]
Go to `<path-to-game>\`. Right-click `StarWolves.exe` and select Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Check the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for:, then select Windows 98 / Windows Me from the dropdown menu. Check the box next to Run this program as an administrator. Select OK to save changes.
