Sonic Lost World is a third-person platform game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega.
After its exclusive Wii U debut in October 2013, a PC port of the game developed by Sega Europe was released via Steam on November 2, 2015.[2]
The PC version of Sonic Lost World lacks multiple features of the original Wii U version, including multiplayer, RC vehicles, the Circus mini-game, and the Yoshi's Island Zone and The Legend of Zelda Zone DLC levels. Additionally, gamma correction is missing and depth-of-field ordering is broken, lowering the graphical fidelity of levels. Community mods are available to restore most of the features.

High frame rate
Change frame rate throttle with a command line argument[5]
|
--F30 - This will change the expected throttle to 30 FPS and may help with machines around the minimum requirements.
--F# - Where # is the maximum desired FPS. Recommended to reduce frame rate related issues as much as possible.
--F - This will completely disable frame rate locking and allow the machine to run as best as it can; this is the most unstable mode, but it can be tried as a last resort.
Notes
- High frame rates may cause some physics to be more intense or make the game behave in unexpected ways.
- 120 FPS, for example, will cause the last part of Frozen Factory Zone 4 to become unplayable due to the friction of snow becoming too intense, making it impossible to gain enough speed before the ice slope to pass the huge gap before the end.
- However, 144 FPS is playable on that stage by seemingly making the ice physics too intense and by extension cancelling out the increased snow friction, but also makes it impossible to accelerate on ice by constantly stopping Sonic's momentum once he hits a certain speed, requiring the player to let Sonic slide instead of actively doing it.
