Issues fixed

Installer not launching on Windows 10

Use winevmd to install
  1. Get winevmd (otvdm) from here. Instructions for getting binaries from github project here.
  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded archive to a folder on your hard drive.
  3. Navigate to your Simon the Sorcerer Pinball CD
  4. Enter the subdirectory Pinball
  5. Drag and drop setup.exe from the Pinball subdirectory onto otvdm.exe located in the folder created in step 2, to start the installation. Alternatively, launch otvdmw.exe, navigate to your simon the sorcerer CD pinball sub-directory and select setup.exe
  6. Follow the on screen instructions to install the game

Direct X "Setpallet error number -2137467259" Error prevents game launch.

Install dgVoodoo2
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo2 here.
  2. Open the downloaded archive and extract the contents of the MS/x86 folder along with dgVoodooCpl.exe and dgVoodoo.conf into the <path-to-game>\sorcerer folder.
  3. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe
  4. Click the icon with the symbols .\ near the top right to reassign the location of the configuration file for dgVoodoo to <path-to-game>\sorcerer
  5. Click the "Okay" button to close the dgVoodoo control panel.
  6. Launch the game using the winpin.exe executable in <path-to-game>\sorcerer.
