Issues fixed

Game does not run on Windows 10

Use dgVoodoo 2.
Download dgVoodoo 2. Extract dgVoodooCpl.exe and dgVoodoo.conf to <path-to-game>. Extract D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll from the \MS\x86 subfolder to <path-to-game>. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe, go to the "DirectX" tab and uncheck the box for "dgVoodoo Watermark".

No video playback

Depending on the system configuration and video driver, the game may not play any videos unless set to compatibility mode.

Right-click on <path-to-game>\shadow.exe, open the properties and select the Compatibility tab. Both Windows 98/ME and Windows XP (Service Pack 2) may work. You'll have to experiment.
