Essential improvements[edit]

Skip intro videos[edit]

  1. Extract the contents of the mod.
  2. Copy dinput8.dll and modengine.ini to your Sekiro directory.

Sekiro FPS Unlocker and more[edit]

Boasts an FPS unlocker, custom resolutions, game and player speed tweaks, FOV modifications, borderless windowed mode, and more.
Works with multiple game versions.
Has to be run every time as this edits the values in RAM.

UI issues when playing on ultrawide without additional fixes.
UI issues when playing on ultrawide without additional fixes.
Replace executable[1]
  1. Download jackfuste's fix.
  2. Replace the <path-to-game>\sekiro.exe with the one inside the fix (using 7zip).

Notes

Some issues with red vignetting and other effects that are in the 16:9 area. These can be fixed using another jackfuste fix that stretches or disables these textures entirely.
Alternatively, you can download a mod from Nexusmods that let's you turn off select parts of the HUD individually, including vignette effects.
Use SekiroFpsUnlockAndMore and enable "Add Custom Resolution"

Field of view (FOV)[edit]

FOV can be set to any value between -95% and +95%.
Use WSGF FOV patch[1]
  1. Download the FOV patch and extract the files.
  2. Run the file for the desired FOV change (e.g. FOV+75%.exe) and patch the game's executable.

Run the game at screen refresh rate[edit]

Fullscreen mode defaults to 60 Hz even if the screen refresh rate is set higher than that.
Override refresh rate set by game, with 3Dmigoto[4]
  1. Download 3Dmigoto (or download Disable_textures_v3.7z if you want to remove texture overlays).
  2. Extract d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46.dll, and d3dx.ini from x64\ to the installation folder.
  3. Open d3dx.ini and go to the [Device] section.
  4. Change ;refresh_rate=60 to refresh_rate=120 or your desired refresh rate (make sure to remove the ;).
  5. Change hunting=1 to hunting=0 under the [Hunting] section to turn off shader hunting options. Optionally you can delete everything else in the d3dx.ini besides the 2 lines [Device] and refresh_rate=120 should anything be causing you issues.
Override refresh rate set by game, with Special K[5]

Install and override the refresh rate using Special K.
