The game can be run without the disc present by copying files from the CD.
Copy files from CD[1]
  1. If the game has not been installed yet, copy the contents of the <disc-root-directory>\Jinx\ folder to a new folder (ex: C:\Games\Scooby-Doo! Jinx at the Sphinx). This will count as your installation directory (<path-to-game>).
  2. Copy the following files from the root directory of the disc to <path-to-game>:
    MUMMY.MMA
    MUMMY.MMF
    MUMMY.MMP
    MUMMY_01.MMF
    MUMMY_02.MMF
    
  3. The following files are opening logos, and are optional:
    IBSLOGO.AVI
