Scarlet Nexus is a single-player third-person ARPG game developed by Tose and Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game uses Unreal Engine 4.

The game was announced on May 7, 2020 as part of an episode of Inside Xbox, and released on Steam on June 25, 2021.[2]

Matches the vertical field of view of each scene to that of 16:9 at all resolutions.
Requires to be run with the game each launch.
Hex-edit the game executable for ultrawide support.[8]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\ScarletNexus\Binaries\Win64\ScarletNexus-Win64-Shipping.exe with HxD.
  2. On the menu bar, select Search. Select Replace. Go to the Hex-values tab and change the Search Direction to All.
  3. Search for and Replace with the below values based on the desired resolution:
    • For 2560x1080, search for 3B 8E E3 3F, 39 8E E3 3F and Replace All with 26 B4 17 40
    • For 3440x1440, search for 3B 8E E3 3F, 39 8E E3 3F and Replace All with 8E E3 18 40
  4. To adjust the FOV, Search for 35 FA 0E 3C and Replace All with 35 FA 3E 3C for 21:9 ultrawide resolutions.
  5. Save the file and close HxD.

Anisotropic filtering (AF)

  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Engine.ini.
  3. Add the following and save the file.
