  1. Install RBR Patch 1.02 SSE.
  2. Go to the installation folder.
  3. Edit RichardBurnsRally.ini.
  4. Change XRes and YRes to the desired resolution.
  5. Download RBR FixUp Plugin.
  6. Copy FixUp.dll into <path-to-game>\Plugins\.

Windowed

  3. Change Fullscreen=true to Fullscreen=false.

Controller support

By default, the game can't use axes as buttons properly (e.g. Xbox 360 Controller triggers).
Fix button assignment[citation needed]
  1. Download and run XInput Plus.
  2. Set the "Target Program" to RichardBurnsRally.exe.
  3. Go to "DirectInput" and check "Enable DirectInput Output".
  4. Assign LT/RT to Button 11/12.
  5. Click Apply; this will install DLL files in the installation folder.
