Issues fixed

Game will not launch

This issue occurs when trying to play the game in Windows 8. The reason this occurs is the game is looking for some DirectDraw files which are not built in.
Use the DDraw files used in Wine[3]
  1. Download this Archive.
  2. Extract the files in this archive into the folder where the game was installed.
  3. Launch the game.

Notes

  1. Adventure Game Studio engine build: 3.3.0.1162[1]
  2. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  3. 3.0 3.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/279260/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (279260) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
