Key points

New version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch feature updated content that the PC's old version doesn't have. All DLCs are included in the new version, and the price is reduced.
If the player's IP address belongs to Japan, the title will be Biohazard: Revelations Unveiled Edition rather than Resident Evil: Revelations. It doesn't affect the gameplay.

Field of view (FOV)

Latest Steam version (released March 2019) is no longer compatible with Widescreen Fixer fix and causes the game to crash.

It is possible to roll back the game to an older version which makes changing the FOV through WF work again, but this leads to losing other fixes that the latest steam version made like introducing the option to disable aim assist.

This game uses vertical FOV. See FOV Calculator for help.
Using Widescreen Fixer[citation needed]
  1. Launch Widescreen Fixer and select the game from the drop down menu.
  2. Click the settings cog icon, disable Automatically Detect Resolution and enter your display count/resolution manually; otherwise the menu/HUD could be scaled incorrectly.
  3. Adjust the FOV slider to the desired vertical FOV.
  4. Go to the Settings tab and set the toggle hotkey if you wish.
  5. Start the game and once you've passed the start screen with the big eye, use Alt+Tab to go back to the desktop, then you can enable the fix by pressing the hotkey, finally go back to the game.
