Radeon Profile Tool (abbreviated RadeonPro) is designed and used for AMD/ATI video cards to automatically launch graphic setting profiles for certain games rather than manual activation that AMD VISION Engine Control Center (ATI Catalyst Control Center) requires. It also features more detailed, and more in-depth graphic and performance settings that include: Anti-Aliasing, texture filtering, CrossfireX settings, and even CPU affinity settings. It's ability to automatically launch profiles and even automatically launch AMD/ATI profiles renders the software hassle-free compared to AMD/ATI's profile activation which is manual.

Where To Download

RadeonPro's official downloads page has a link to download the latest version.

Support

RadeonPro supports a variety of Radeon HD video cards and almost every game whether officially supported or manually added.

Hardware

RadeonPro officially supports these AMD/ATI video cards. Simply put, video cards from Radeon HD 4770 or later are supported.

Games and Software

RadeonPro's official site has a search function that allows you to look for supported games and allows you to filter games. You can still add any game's executable file in order to create a profile for it irrespective of its inclusion or lack thereof on the aforementioned list. RadeonPro also allows you to search for compatible/installed games through Window's Game Explorer (Games folder), Steam installations, or though manually adding an executable file.

Quick User Guide

Adding Games

You can add games by manually locating the game's executable file, or by using RadeonPro's New Profile Wizard.

New Profile Wizard

  1. Click the "Add New Profile Wizard" button which looks like a Wizard hat near the top of the RadeonPro window.
  2. Clicking "Choose from File System" will allow you to look and select the game's executable file. Clicking "Choose from Games Explorer" will show the games that appear in the Windows Games folder. Clicking "Choose from Steam" will show games that are installed via Steam, however, some games will not show up properly using this function and using it the first time will take a while due to the program scanning all of your games.
  3. The setup wizard will now guide you through various graphic settings for your profile.
  4. When finished adding settings or you've completed the wizard, click finish.

Add New Profile Manually

  1. Click the "Add New Profile" button which looks like a piece of paper with a green plus (+) next to it.
  2. Browse and look for the game's executable file.
  3. The profile is now added.
  4. Select the profile and use the graphic settings on the right of the RadeonPro to adjust visual and performance settings and more.

Activating a Profile

You can either launch the game as your normally would, by launching the game from RadeonPro, or through digital distribution software such as Steam or Origin.

Launching Through RadeonPro

There are multiple ways to launch a game within RadeonPro.

  1. Right-click on the RadeonPro icon at the bottom right of the Windows Taskbar.
  2. Move your mouse to "Launch".
  3. Select a profile/game to launch.
  4. The profile will be activated and you can confirm it when the RadeonPro icon turns into a red slash logo.

Another method while the RadeonPro window is active:

  1. Double-click on the profile name to launch the game.
  2. The game should launch the profile should be activated.
