RTX

Uses hardware path tracing, and as such requires graphics card and driver capable of VK_KHR_ray_query, VK_KHR_ray_tracing_pipeline, or VK_NV_ray_tracing Vulkan extension.

OpenGL

Uses OpenGL engine of Q2PRO source port.
Does not require special hardware.
On non-RTX hardware can be set via command line, see API section.

Widescreen resolution

Older versions of the program are Vert-. For proper weapon appearance and Hor+ support cl_adjustfov variable must be set to 1. See gallery below.
Fix is unnecessary on latest up-to-date version of program.
Fix weapon appearance, enable Hor+[3]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open or create text file autoexec.cfg using Notepad or other text editor.
  3. Paste seta cl_adjustfov "1" line there.
  4. Save the file.
  5. Launch the game.
