Issues fixed

Can't begin to play, game not responding to some keyboard keys (e.g. space key)

Reset to the defaults in the keyboard settings[4]

Other information

Change Language in the Free version

The Free version comes with multiple languages, but because it doesn't change Windows registry, only defaults to English.

Create [PsiOpsLanguage.reg] and add to registry (For Windows 64 bits)[5]

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GAMESTAR\PsiOps]

"LANGUAGE"="1"

Notes

Change "LANGUAGE" number to:
  1. for English
  2. for French
  3. for Italian
  4. for Spanish
  5. for German
Missing key registry defaults to English. If missing folders \GAMESTAR\PsiOps simply create them in registry as new keys, then inside create a new DWORD (32 bit) value and name it LANGUAGE, proceed to change the value to the number corresponding your language.
