High frame rate

Raise frame rate cap^[7]

Go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Mobius Digital\Outer Wilds\
Create a new file named secretsettings.txt.
Open it and add the line PhysicsRate=120 where 120 is the desired frame rate.

If you experience motion artifacts at PhysicsRate=144 when playing on a 144HZ monitor, try setting PhysicsRate=240 and see if it fixes it. In my case and a few others so far it has.

This changes the rate at which physics calculations are performed, which may have a significant impact on performance.
