Key points

Updated version of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee which includes partially updated assets from the console HD release, numerous bug fixes, and "proper" controller support[1]
Game time and movement speed is significantly faster than the original Xbox version, which may be an issue for returning players and can lead to script failures, necessitating a reload and lost progress.[citation needed]
Several sounds from the original version have been replaced with newer versions of mismatched audio quality.[citation needed]
Music playback is degraded and plays at the wrong speed. Incidental music also no longer plays correctly, likely due to the increased framerate.[citation needed]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/15740/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (15740) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
