Issues unresolved

Poor Performance

Disable VSync.[citation needed]
VSync is using double buffering, resulting in a large performance decrease if the framerate drops below your monitor's refresh rate. Disable or force Triple Buffering in your graphic's control panel to resolve.
Instructions
Disable GSync.[2]
GSync uses double buffering like VSync, but appears to not turn off from the in-game settings menu. It can be forcibly disabled in TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML and has been known to fix some stuttering issues.
Instructions

Bad controls

Many users are reporting the mouse + keyboard controls being unresponsive.[3]

Pop-in

The game has serious pop-in issues and there is no settings for changing the render distance.[3]

Crash to Desktop

If on launch you are having issues with it crashing to desktop make sure you have the following

  • A GPU Supporting OpenGL 4.5[4]
  • A CPU Supporting SSE 4.1[5]

Resolution Upscaling

The game has a lower rendering resolution than your actual resolution, resulting in grave upscaling artifacts (such as image blurriness and aliasing).[citation needed]

Screen Tearing

The game has screen tearing while in the borderless mode. The borderless mode does not seem to be real borderless mode which is also proven by the fact that the mouse cursor moves at the fps of the game, and that the screen flickers very shortly on alt tabbing/windows key. Also has screen tearing regardless of settings except if the ingame vsync is turned on, and fullscreen is enabled. Forcing Vsync through GPU control panel has no effect.

Frame Rate Drops, Stuttering, and Hitching

Users are experiencing large framerate drops, microstutters, and hitches.

Game not starting

If the game fails to launch, with no windows opening and no error messages being displayed, try freeing up space (at least 10GB) on the system partition.[citation needed]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/275850/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (275850) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
