Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit is a racing game developed by EA Seattle and published by Electronic Arts. The third entry in the Need for Speed franchise, III: Hot Pursuit allows players to race several sports cars around nine tracks, with a separate "Hot Pursuit" mode for police chases that allows players to be chased by the cops as a racer or, for the first time in the series, be a cop to shut down other racers.
