Use Special K
  1. Download Special K
  2. Enable global injection through the Special K UI
  3. (Optional) Install the Special K wrapper through the compatibility menu, by holding CTRL + Shift while launching the game
  4. In-game, open the Special K UI using CTRL + Shift + Backspace
  5. Open the HDR Calibration menu under the Widgets tab
  6. Enable scRGB HDR (16 bit) and restart the game
  7. Adjust the settings in the HDR Calibration menu
Global injection needs to be enabled every time the game is launched, unless the local injector is installed. This may cause compatibility issues with other games
Windows HDR must be enabled
Without manual whitelisting, this method will only work for the Steam version
Fullscreen may have DPI scaling issues. For this reason, it is recommended to switch to borderless windowed in-game

Issues unresolved

Crashes during gameplay

A crash may happen at the start of mission 5. Reloading a save may avoid it afterwards.[1]
The secondary mission "The Hunt" on map 10 may crash. It is on the map "Tempus Dedra" of mission 10.[1]

Tutorial unavailability

If the first Escher is killed too quickly, it may block the tutorial. The player may have to restart the level to bypass it.[1]

Stuttering

The game may stutter when enemies are spawned.[1]
