Version differences
- Myth: The Total Codex is a compilation pack that includes Myth: The Fallen Lords, Myth II: Soulblighter, the Chimera DLC by Badlands, strategy guides for both Myth games, and a variety of plugins created by fans within the community.
- Myth II: Worlds is a compilation pack that includes Myth II: Soulblighter and it's strategy guide but with community content not featured in either Myth: The Total Codex nor Myth: Antologia.
- Myth: Antologia is a re-release of Myth: The Total Codex but with Myth III: The Wolf Age and it's own strategy guide also included and sold exclusively for the Polish market.

- This patch also removes the game's DRM; copy the cutscenes folder off the disk into the game's install directory to have cutscenes play without the disk inserted, or use the hi-res QuickTime cutscenes (see below).
Project Magma is a major patch and continuation of Myth II, it provides modern PC support, huge optimizations, bug fixes, and countless other additions. It also updates the main modding tools to modern standards.
Graphical Mods
- If you experience slowdowns try setting the texture cache size to 512 in Myth II's preferences.[1]
- Expansive Interface or Expanded Interface - Make the main/pause menu interface larger than 640x480; 1024x768 for Expansive and 800x600 for Expanded.
- Long Player List Interface - Shows 16 player instead of the default 8 when in a lobby.
- Myth II QuickTime Cutscenes and Third Party QuickTime Cutscenes - Replaces the original low-res cutscenes with hi-res ones.
- Myth HD - Adds hi-res character sprites.
- Chimera Trees - Replaces some of the ugliest Bungie stock tree sprites with ones from the Chimera addon.
- Detail Texture Megapack - Upscaled and improved terrain textures.
- ESRGAN Upscale Pack - AI upscaled 4x size world textures for Myth II: Soulblighter and The Fallen Levels mod. Detail textures and ESRGAN textures upscale different parts of the game and supposed to be used together.
