Version differences[edit]

Myth: The Total Codex is a compilation pack that includes Myth: The Fallen Lords, Myth II: Soulblighter, the Chimera DLC by Badlands, strategy guides for both Myth games, and a variety of plugins created by fans within the community.
Myth: Antologia is a re-release of Myth: The Total Codex but with Myth III: The Wolf Age and it's own strategy guide also included and sold exclusively for the Polish market.

Project Magma patch[edit]

This patch also removes the game's DRM; copy cutscenes.gor off the disk into the tags folder in the game's install directory to have cutscenes play without the disk inserted.

Adds OpenGL rendering and improves compatibility as well as add OS X support for Mac. Can be downloaded here.

Melekor's TFL Launcher[edit]

A work around for myth's infamous memory bug allowing you to play the game on computers with more than 1GB of ram. Can be downloaded here. Only needed if using patch 1.3 which can be obtained here.

Myth: The Fallen Levels[edit]

Requires Myth II: Soulblighter!
You need to tick TFL Gameplay in the new game menu or else it will use Myth II's regular game balancing. Additionally there are setting in Preferences that can make the port feel more authentic such as TFL Style Gesture Arrows, TFL Style Selection Boxes and TFL Mouse Actions (in the Controls menu).

Myth: The Fallen Levels is a project to port Myth: The Fallen Lords' content to the Myth 2 engine. Singleplayer levels are available here and multiplayer here. Hi-res cutscenes can also be found here, or you could alternatively copy cutscenes.gor off your TFL disk into Myth II's cutscenes folder if you prefer the original quality. The TFL Physics and Real Craters plugins can make the experience even more authentic by adding effects that are missing from Myth II. Lastly there is a TFL themed main menu interface for Myth II available here.
