Issues fixed

The game doesn't start

Trying to start the game via Steam turns the avatar borders green for a few seconds and then blue again. Trying to run the game's .exe directly doesn't do anything. There are a few different solutions to this problem.
DualShock[citation needed]
Some users have problems starting the game with a DualShock controller connected to their computer. Try to disconnect it.[1]
Enable GPU Upscaling (for AMD users)[citation needed]
  1. Open the Catalyst Control Panel
  2. Click on 'My Digital Flat Panels'
  3. Select 'Properties'
  4. Tick the box 'Enable GPU Upscaling'
Change CPU affinity (For those with 4+ CPU cores)[citation needed]
  1. Download a program which will allow you to permanently change the CPU affinity on process startup
  2. Launch the game, and go into the program of your choosing
  3. Look for MK10.exe
  4. Change the CPU affinity to CPU0-3

Framerate Issue

This fix works only if the game is in Fullscreen and the refresh rate is at 60 Hz or 59,95 Hz
Use Adaptive V-Sync (for Nvidia users)[citation needed]
  1. Open the Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Click on 'Manage 3D Settings'
  3. Select 'Mortal Kombat X' (If it's not listed Add mk10.exe)
  4. Select 'Adaptive' from 'Vertical Sync' list

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/307780/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (307780) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
