Issues unresolved

Micro stuttering

It seems certain motherboards/chipsets combinations can cause the game to stutter every second or two, depending also on the connected HID Devices (keyboards, mouse etc.). There is no known fix other than changing motherboard and chipset or trying to unplug or disable the affected hardware. As a workaround, a virtual machine with 3D graphics acceleration, e.g. VMware Workstation Player, can be used to run the game.[3]

Issues fixed

No sound during gameplay

This is caused by a missing or outdated OpenAL installation.
Instructions[citation needed]

Install OpenAL and restart the game.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/35000/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (35000) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
