Minecraft Dungeons is made by Mojang and published by Microsoft Studios. It is set in the Minecraft universe. Unlike its predecessors Minecraft, the original first-person sandbox game, and Minecraft: Story Mode, an episodic point and select adventure game, Minecraft Dungeons is a hack and slash-styled action RPG viewed from a bird's-eye view.

On May 26, 2020 the game was released on Microsoft Store for Windows 10, as well as on its own launcher compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Cross-platform multiplayer is available between Xbox and Windows 10 using Xbox Game Bar,[1] however cross-platform saves are not available nor planned.[2]

Yeah, Minecraft Dungeons eventually zooms in due to a status effect or whatever and then just stays zoomed-in. Setting the FOV in the console doesn't seem to do anything after a while until you leave the dungeon.

The rear speakers of the 5.1 sound system were in use for positional output for fire and other effects.
