  1. Download and install the latest version of Cheat Engine.
  2. Download this file and put it somewhere convenient: ShadowOfMordorFOVFix.CT.
  3. Run Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
  4. Alt+Tab , and run ShadowOfMordorFOVFix.CT, this should open an instance of Cheat Engine.
  5. In the top left of the Cheat Engine window, click the first button (computer with magnifier).
  6. At the bottom of the new window, press Process List.
  7. Scroll down, and select ShadowofMordor.exe, then press OK, then press Yes.
  8. Right click the "FOV Fix" entry at the bottom part of the Cheat Engine window, and select Set Hotkeys.
  9. Click Create Hotkey and press a button (for example F8), then press OK again.
  10. Open Shadow of Mordor and press the hotkey you selected.

High frame rate

The game is capped at 100 FPS without this fix.
Disable frame rate limit[1]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Edit render.cfg.
  3. On line 6, change Render.Setting.FrameRateLimit to "3.000000".
