Extract mod to installation folder[citation needed]
|
- Download the mod
- Extract the contents inside the game installation folder
- Edit
fov.cfg with your desired horizontal FOV.
Notes

- Open
TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG in the text editor of your choosing.

- On some configurations make sure that "Windows Timer Resolution" is set 0.5 ms for more stable 100+ higher FPS on high end cards. Tutorial on how to do that here
Notes
- If you make any changes to the graphics options in-game, this preference will be reset. To avoid accidentally doing this, Set
TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG to Read-Only in Windows.

Issues fixed
Player will involuntarily move in a random direction indefinitely
- This glitch occurs both on foot and in vehicle.
- Has a higher chance of occurring if the user frequently uses the Steam overlay and chat while in-game.
- Can trigger on any key press not just movement keys e.g. call key
Tap WASD[citation needed]
|
- Tap in the direction you are moving to stop.
- Pausing the game, tapping WASD (up, down, left & right for controller) then un-pausing will reset all camera and movement control back to normal.
|
Shadow bug occurs when using Alt+Tab ↹ in Fullscreen mode
- Minimising the game (Alt+Tab ↹) while using Fullscreen mode may cause shadows to become artifacted.[9]
Method 1: Change to a lower resolution, apply, and then, change back to your desired resolution[citation needed]
|
Method 2: Restart the game[citation needed]
|
Might corrupt save game files
- There are plenty of reports on the web about complete loss of progress due to corrupted saves. Konami itself had acknowledged as much under certain circumstances,[10] but it seems like it can happen at various times and still does.
Workaround
|
None. Either replace save game files with manually backed up ones, or with those from someone else.
|
Can't throw magazines / grenades underarm or lightly when using keyboard & mouse
Instructions
|
You need to hold left click for half a second before releasing. Too fast or too long will result in an overarm throw.
See https://youtu.be/8lSfbELNWRk for timing example.
