Alter the game's field of view

Go to <Steam-folder>\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\resource
Open gamelogic.pak. with a program like 7zip or WinRAR
Open the set folder
Open the registry folder
Backup camera.reg.
Edit camera.reg.
In the perspective section, change {65} to your desired FOV value.
Save your changes.

Notes

Altering the FOV may prevent you from joining online matches until the default values are returned.

Disable anti-aliasing
Go to `%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\men of war - assault squad 2\profiles\<user-id>`. Open `options.set`. Change antialiasing from `2x` to `none`.

Issues unresolved

Cannot use DirectSound3D options with SoundBlaster X-Fi cards

SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcards cannot use any of the DirectSound3D options - even using Creative ALchemy.^[1]
