Melty Blood is a scrolling side view fighting game developed by Watanabe Seisakujo and Type-Moon. It is the first installment in Melty Blood series, a spin-off of the adult visual novel Tsukihime.
The game was originally released at Comiket and received two expansions since then:
Re-ACT adds Arcade Mode that takes place after the original Melty Blood sotry, various rebalances to avoid infinite combos, new characters and new movesets for the doppelgänger characters.
Re-ACT, Final Tuned, adds several features designed to allow the game to be configured to resemble the gameplay of Act Cadenza and adds an analog-friendly input system
