Config files are located in <install dir>\main\configs\unnamedsoldier.cfg and <install dir>\main\newconfig.cfg

Issues And Fixes

Graphics settings are lost each time when starting game

You need to copy your graphics settings from <install dir>\main\configs\unnamedsoldier.cfg to <install dir>\main\newconfig.cfg
Or you can use Max quality graphics settings

3D Surround Sound[1]

Windows XP

  • Make backup of <install dir>\snddrivers\
  • Extract contents of http://www.embedupload.com/?d=1IIFRHAZDG to <install dir>\snddrivers\ overwriting everything
  • open <install dir>\main\configs\unnamedsoldier.cfg and edit seta s_milesdriver to one that is supported by your sound card (EAX 2 is recommended, but try others if the don't work for you)

  • Run game, go to "Options" -> "Audio" and change "Speaker Setup" to "Surround" if you're using 5.1 Speakers, or "Quad Speakers" if you're using 4.0 or 4.1

If it's not working, you can always just change seta s_milesdriver to Miles Fast 2D Positional Audio

Windows Vista / 7

It's only working with Sound Blaster Audigi or X-Fi sound card. You must install Creative Alchemy and manually add entry for the game
