Control settings

Playing with a controller is recommended for an optimal experience.[5]
  • Steering Mode (Controller)
    • Screen Based: Move the stick in the direction you want to go. The bike steers toward the direction of the stick, from the camera's point of view.
    • Left / Right: Move the stick left or right based on the rider's point of view. Moving the stick left steers counterclockwise, and moving the stick right steers clockwise. Also known as tank controls.
    • Left / Right Inverted: Moving the stick left steers clockwise, and moving the stick right steers counterclockwise.
  • Keyboard
    • Default: and steer counterclockwise and clockwise, respectively. accelerates, brakes, and Shift sprints. (WASD may also be used instead of .) Also known as tank controls.
    • Inverted: Appears to be buggy. Same behavior as either Default or Speed Only (whichever was last applied), except that WAD no longer function (S still works).[6]
    • Speed Only: accelerates, brakes, and Shift sprints. Use a mouse or controller to steer. (WS may also be used instead of .)
  • Mouse
    • Distance Based: Steer with the mouse and accelerate or brake by moving the mouse pointer closer/nearer to the rider. The bike steers toward the cursor while LMB or RMB is held. LMB accelerates when the bike is far from the cursor, and brakes when the bike is close to the cursor. RMB sprints.
    • Button Based: The bike always steers toward the cursor. LMB accelerates, RMB brakes, and LMB+RMB sprints.
    • Steering Only: The bike always steers toward the cursor. Mouse buttons are not used. Use a keyboard or controller to accelerate, brake, and sprint.
