Manually modify the game executable[2]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\Helios\Binaries\Win64\Little Nightmares II.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD).
  2. Search and replace 39 8E E3 3F with 26 B4 17 40 (for 2560x1080) or any other aspect ratio in hex.
  3. Search and replace 3B 8E E3 3F as above.
  4. Save the file, overwriting the original.
  5. Follow the instructions to enable the developer console in the game.
  6. Enter FOV X where X is the desired value.
Steam version executable needs to be unpacked with Steamless before modification.

Anisotropic filtering (AF)

  2. Open Engine.ini.

Issues fixed

Game does not launch on Windows 7

The game shows the error "The application does not support your operation system" when trying to launch it on Windows 7.
Modify game executable[1]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>\Helios\Binaries\Win64\.
  2. Open Little Nightmares II.exe with a hex-editor such as HxD.
  3. Go to offset 51FBB1 and change 75 to EB.
  4. Save the file.
The offset for the Enhanced Edition is A1D0DD. It also requires to be launched with the -d3d11 Command line argument.
The Steam version executable needs to be unpacked with Steamless before modifying it.
