This fix is for the ScummVM re-release. It will correct the aspect ratio and increase the number of colors from the default 16.

Change display options in ScummVM configuration file[citation needed]
Edit the file <path-to-game>\lsl2.ini. In the [scummvm] section change the line aspect_ratio=false to aspect_ratio=true. In the [lsl2] section change the line disable_dithering=false to disable_dithering=true. Save the file.

Stuck at the opening screen / Can't start a new game or load a saved game

The game uses manual-based copy protection, which is also present in all digital re-releases. The question has to be answered every time the game is launched.

Use a cheat code[citation needed]
On the copy protection screen, input the following number: 0724 (Al Lowe's birthday). This code will also skip the intro.
