Issues fixed

Crash after the Black Rider level

After completing the Black Rider level and going into the woods past the ferry, some users have reported crashing.
Enable compatibility settings for LEGOLOTR.exe[5]
  1. Go to <path-to-game>.
  2. Right-click LEGOLOTR.exe.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Properties.
  4. Once the window is open, select the Compatibility tab.
  5. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
  6. In the next drop-down, select "Windows 7".
  7. Click "OK".
Some users also reported that traveling to Hobbiton via the map, running back to and crossing the river with the ferry while leaving the hobbits behind allowed them to run through the area without crashes.[6]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/214510/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (214510) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
