Issues fixed

Sluggish menu animations

Use dgVoodoo 2[2]
  1. Download the latest release of dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Extract dgVoodooCpl.exe and D3D8.dll to the game directory.
  3. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe.
  4. Click the .\ button to set the game directory as config folder.
  5. Click on the DirectX tab and disable dgVoodoo Watermark.

Notes

For the best image quality, also set Filtering to Force anisotropic 16x and Antialiasing (MSAA) to 8x.
If you have high frame rates, you may need to enable vsync and or set a framecap limit to prevent broken physics and sluggish menus [2]

Random crashes and freezes

Use DxWrapper[citation needed]
Set the compatibility mode to Windows 98 / Me[citation needed]
Force CPU affinity to one core[citation needed]

Buggy Physics

Limit the frame rate to 60 FPS[citation needed]
Enable V-Sync in the launcher and set refresh rate to 60hz[citation needed]

V-Sync option does not work on Windows 10

Use the dgVoodoo 2 dll file
  1. Download dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Open the ZIP file and go to \MS\x86.
  3. Copy D3D8.dll to the game directory.
