Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is a collection of role-playing games in the Kingdom Hearts series originally released in 2017 for PlayStation 4. It was developed and published by Square Enix.

The collection is a compilation containing Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and cinematic remakes of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

The game was released on Epic Games Store on March 30, 2021 following an announcement on February 11, 2021 during a livestream.[1] This is the first time the Kingdom Hearts series has made its way to PC.

Issues unresolved

Game crashes randomly

The games may crash in random locations during gameplay.[7][8][9][10]

To help mitigate the issue, make sure the frame rate is capped no higher than 60.[11]

  • Only the camera logic will run uncapped, while the rest of the game runs at 30 or 60 regardless of the frame rate setting.
  • Crashes are less likely to occur at lower refresh rates. This means 30 is the most stable.

Game relies on internet connection to connect to EOS for overlay and will not boot when launched offline. Disconnecting from the internet during gameplay won't kick the player out, but a message will appear periodically asking the user to check their internet connection. This message can be dismissed by clicking the "Retry" button that appears on the message, but the message can't be dismissed when it appears as a result of switching or launching games from the menu while offline.
