Issues unresolved
Saved progress lost
- The Epic Games Store version of the game has had its save data location changed following the release on Steam, resulting in being unable to load existing save files from before the update.[16][17][18]
Issues fixed
Game failing to launch
- Part of the official minimum system requirements listed on the Epic Games Store page is a CPU supporting the AVX instruction set. Meeting the requirement should solve the issue.[19] Reportedly, the game has been updated to remove the AVX requirement.[20]
Game freezes
- The game may stutter attempting to establish an online connection.[21][22][23] Update 1.35 appears to have fixed this issue.[24]
Launch the game directly from <path-to-game>\Journey.exe , disabling online connectivity.[25]

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/638230/
in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (638230) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
