Game crash
If the game is run on anything faster then roughly a 386SX it will crash when transitioning between levels, or when loosing your last life.
Use DOSBox |
---|
Notes Limit cycles in DOSBox to 4000. This is not ideal as the game could benefit from a higher speed. |
Download a fix[2] |
---|
Notes On Vogons, user ripsaw8080 posted a fix he created. Download the archive and unzip it in your game directory. Now instead of starting the game with JIM.EXE, start it with JIMFIX.COM. Now when the game hangs, hit the END key to proceed. |

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/370270/
in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (370270) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
