Intravenous is a singleplayer top-down view action and stealth game developed by a single indie developer - Roman Glebenkov. The game - in the words of developer - is a "love letter to early Splinter Cell games",[1] where how well lit the player's character is and how much noise he makes matter.

The game was released on Steam and GOG.com on July 26, 2021 gathering Very Positive Steam review score.[1] The release was then followed by a sequence of small patches, often released daily, which addressed many of the smaller bugs caught by the players and expanded on the game's mechanics and localization.
On September 25, 2021 a beta version of the map editor was released to the public beta branch,[2] and ultimately becoming a part of the game in patch 1.1.0 of the game on October 18, 2021,[3] after which the developer focused on introducing controller support, which was officially added to the game in patch 1.2.0.[4] The game then received support for mutators in patch 1.3.0.[5]
On January 22, the game received full Steam Workshop support after an extensive beta test with the community.[6]

The game currently remains available for sale, with the developer still releasing small fixes to further improve performance and adress gameplay oversights.[7]
