Save game data location
- Saving is only possible at main base. Dock at the base, then hit Esc to save.
Video
- Resolution can be raised up to 1920x1080.
- FOV needs to be adjusted (otherwise it is Vert-). See the WSGF entry or the technical FAQ.
- Cutscenes are heavily stretched. 16:9 cutscenes can be downloaded here. Use them to replace the default ones in
<path-to-game>\movies
, and back up the original ones.
- New AI upscaled cinematics and other FMV elements can be downloaded here. Resolution is limited to a maximum of 1080p due to the limitations of the used Bink Video version.
- HUD becomes very small at high resolutions.
- By default, the game's AA can only be toggled on/off for the in-game HUD lines and orb stalks.
Set windowed mode in flux.ini[citation needed]

- Go to

- Edit
flux.ini .
- Change
full_screen = 1 to full_screen = 0
- Save the changes and close the file.

Use DDrawCompat[citation needed]
|
- Download the DDrawCompat wrapper by narzoul.
- Place the
ddraw.dll file to <path-to-game>\bin\release .
- Launch the game and change the resolution in the options menu.
- Make sure the graphics card is correctly selected.
Note
- A crash can occur once loading the game if the selected graphics card in
flux.ini is not available anymore. Return to the game options, select the available graphics card and try again.
