Launcher may fail hardware check

On modern systems the launcher may see the hardware as incompatible, preventing the user from changing the controls and graphics settings.
Retail version[2]
  1. Install AutoHotkey
  2. Download Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge - AutoHotkey Launcher Fix
  3. Copy 'Hot Wheels STC Fix.ahk' to the game folder
  4. Run AutoHotkey
  5. Run the game's launcher (check.exe)
  6. Click 'OK' if the "Hardware check failed" error box pops up
  7. Open 'Hot Wheels STC Fix.ahk' and both the 'Controls' and 'Display' buttons will be enabled now
