Issues fixed
Installing on 64-bit versions of Windows
- The original disc release uses a 16-bit installer.
- Insert the CD
- Download Winevdm.
- Extract it Somewhere
- Click on otvdmw.exe then look for SETUP.EXE
- You may get a "SEGV" error and if that's the case just click on continue
- Follow the Prompts
Playing the game on Windows 8 and 10
- Download ddraw.
- Extract it somewhere
- Copy ddraw.dll to your installation folder (where you installed the game at)
- Right click on HEROES2W.exe and go to properties
- On Compatibility Mode Select Windows 98 / Windows ME
- Click on Reduced colour mode and set it to "16-Bit (65536) Colour"
- Also Click on "Run this Program as an Administrator
- Click Apply and OK
- Run the game
