Use the Heavy Rain Ultrawide and Multimonitor patcher[2]
|
- 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 32:9 patchers are available.
- Download one of the patchers.
- Unpack the archive and point the patcher at
<path-to-game>\HeavyRain.exe
- Some of the UI elements will be scaled correctly, while others will be stretched.
- Results in more horizontal and vertical FOV - no pillarboxing.
- The FOV compensation method leads to scenes appearing significantly zoomed-out compared to the original.
|
Edit the config file[3]
|
- Open
<path-to-game>\user_setting.ini .
- Find
VSync=1 and VSyncInterval=1 and set both values to 0 .
- Save the file and launch the game.
- Running above 60 FPS might cause issues with animations.
- Adjusting the in-game Limit FPS setting will require closing the game and editing the file again.
