The method above causes graphical glitches (ghosting around objects) in some situations. As an alternative try this method:-

  1. Download resolution.zip here.
  2. Unzip the file and place it in the PC sub folder within the games installation folder (same folder as hp6.exe).
  3. Start the game.

Ultra-widescreen

21:9 and 32:9 ratio
  1. Open the hp6.exe with a hex-editor.
  2. Search for the following hex value: 398EE33F
 For 21:9 replace 398EE33F with 26B41740
 For 32:9 replace 398EE33F with 398E6340

3. Then search for the following hex value: 8035FA8E3C

 For 21:9 replace 8035FA8E3C with 0752AD3C
 For 32:9 replace 8035FA8E3C with A3E4EB3C

4. Save the file and start the game.

Instead of opening DxWnd everytime you want to play, you can set-up a proxy.
  1. Right-click the game in DxWnd.
  2. Hover on "Proxy".
  3. Select "d3d9" and click "Yes".
