Issues fixed

Can't view cutscenes

Run GMCONFIG.exe from the installation folder every time you run the game[citation needed]

The game can corrupt its own config file every time is it run on modern versions of Windows.[citation needed]

Run Grandia2.exe in Windows XP compatibility mode

Required for modern versions of Windows to view in-game cutscenes.

Press F9 to skip the cutscene

Game crashes due to music

Replace corrupt .vms music tracks[citation needed]

The last nine music tracks on the CD are corrupt. These are Sky02.vms, Sky03.vms, Tower.vms, Val05.vms, Valmer01.vms, Valmer02.vms, Valmer06.vms, Wk01.vms and Wk02.vms. Delete these files from your VMS folder, then copy and rename other music files to replace them.

Millenia never casts Zap

Don't talk to any tutorial givers at any point[citation needed]

Talking to the tutorial guy permanently changes the AI. Load a save before you talk to the tutorial guy, or start a new game. Then, don't talk to any tutorial givers at any point.
