Download this patched executable and replace the original. It adds widescreen resolutions and replaces the GameSpy service with OpenSpy to host and join multiplayer games.

Set through console[citation needed]
  1. Start the game and load your profile.
  2. Open the console by pressing F11 then type in the following (replacing the numbers with the desired X and Y values for resolution), then restart the game:

set r_yres 1080
