In-game settings cannot be changed at any time prior to tutorial completion on first time launch.
Additional options (like HDR Lighting, Depth of Field, Nailfx, etc.) can only be configured by editing config file.

Anisotropic filtering (AF)

Modify option.ini to configue Anisotropic Filtering[citation needed]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Open option.ini.
  3. Find the AnisoFilter=N parameter located in the [Video_Adv] section and change the value to either 2, 4, 8, or 16.
  4. Deleting the value or setting it to a value of 1 can disable it completely, since 8 is the default on lowest in-game settings
  5. Save the file and launch the game.

Notes

  1. When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/369200/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (369200) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
