Explicit multi-adapter support

Support for multiple GPUs was being worked on as of March 2016.

Frame rate drops after Windows 10 update 1809

Frame rate on ultra settings varies from 120 to 30 FPS independently of hardware. It is a known issue that the developers are aware of but regard as a low priority. Some users report that the game is playable after setting the shadows option to low.^{[citation needed]}

Issues fixed

"Your graphics hardware is not optimized for this game" error on launch

This error occurs on laptops with switchable graphics. The current solution is to change the primary GPU global setting.

Set primary GPU (AMD systems)
Close the game. Open Radeon Settings. Choose Preferences, then choose Radeon Additional Settings. Under the Power section, choose Switchable Graphics Global Settings. Set the appropriate power mode to Maximize performance.

Set primary GPU (Nvidia systems)
Close the game. Open the Nvidia Control Panel. Choose Manage 3D Settings. Set Preferred graphics processor to High-Performance NVIDIA processor. Choose Apply.
