Issues fixed

Infinite Loading Times/Graphical Issues on AMD cards

Use drivers 17.5.2 or newer[4][5]
This occurs on AMD drivers from 17.3.2 to 17.5.1

Game crashes to desktop on start with Multi-monitor enabled

If the game crashes to the desktop after displaying the Turn 10 Studio video, use the fix below.
Multi-monitor crashing fix[6]
This fix should work with both AMD Eyefinity and Nvidia Surround.
  1. Disable multi-monitor.
  2. Launch game.
  3. In the game options, set Full-Screen to Off.
  4. Stretch the game window to cover most of each screen.
  5. Re-enable multi-monitor with the game running, confirm that the game window is covering part of each screen.
  6. Quit out of the game.
  7. Restart the game. If the game window does not cover most of each screen, stretch it to do so while it's loading.
  8. Set the game resolution to your multi-monitor resolution.
  9. Set the game's Full Screen option back to On.

Game window closes before the game launches

If the game's window closes after the FH3 logo, it is possible that your Anti-Virus isn't letting the game run. This issue is especially apparent if you're using Trend Micro.
Add 'WindowsApps' and 'WpSystem' to your Anti-Virus exception list[7]
Note: It is possible that you won't have access to the 'WindowsApps' folder. If this is the case you must take ownership of this folder. If you already have access to this folder, proceed to the second set of steps.
  1. Proceed to the drive in which the game was installed. If you installed in the C Drive, make sure to also go in the 'Programs Files' folder.
  2. On top of the window, click 'View' and click the 'Hidden items' box. You should see the 'WindowsApps' folder.
  3. Right click on the folder and select 'Properties'.
  4. Go to the 'Security' tab and select 'Advanced'.
  5. A window will pop up and near the top there should be a field titled 'Owner', click 'Change' next to it.
  6. A little window should pop up. Select the little text box and type in your Administrator username and select the 'Check Names' button next to it once you're done, it should then complete the name. Click OK.
  7. Now the prior window will appear, this time the 'Owner' field looks different. Below that field is a tickbox titled 'Replace owner on sub containers and objects', tick it! Then click Apply.
  8. Windows will then change the ownership of the 'WindowsApps' folder.
  9. Click OK on all the windows and you're done. You can test to see if it worked by trying to access the 'WindowsApps' folder yourself, if you're able to open it and look at its contents, you have done it correctly!

  1. Open your Anti-Virus
  2. Through your settings, access the Exception List and select 'Add'.
  3. Browse to the drive in which FH3 is installed and select the 'WindowsApps' folder. If you installed to the C Drive, go into the Programs Files folder.
  4. Repeat the same steps for 'WpSystem'
  5. Save your changes and try to launch the game. The game should now be able to pass the FH3 logo and play the intro videos.

Game exits after some time of playing

Use the script to run the game.
If the game after running the script does not automatically go to full screen as before, press ALT + ENTER within 70 seconds of running the script.
