- Browse to the local files of your Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster install.
- Navigate to Final Fantasy_Data > Streaming Assets to find the font files
- Delete "font_en.bundle" and "font_en.manifest"
- Subtitute the "ja" in the "font_ja.bundle" and "font_ja.manifest" files with a "en"
