Open <path-to-game>\UnityPlayer.dll in HxD.
Press Ctrl+R and select the “Hex-values” tab
Click on Search Direction “All”
Search for 39 8E E3 3F and replace it with 26 B4 17 40 (for 2560x1080) or any other aspect ratio in hex.
Click 'Change Everything'
Save the file

Results in cropping.
