FIFA 23 is a singleplayer and multiplayer bird's-eye view and third-person sports game in the FIFA series.

For the first time since the start of the ninth generation, the PC port will be based on the PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X version instead of the old gen PlayStation 4/Xbox One release. This translates to better graphics and the HyperMotion Technology making its debut on PC. Crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia will also be featured for the first time in the series history.

Issues fixed

Crash at startup

Anti-cheat errors out

A list of solutions to common issues can be found here
Users have been receiving errors surrounding the new anti-cheat (see EA Answers HQ post)
Unknown error: There have been unknown anti-cheat-related errors reported to be mitigated by uninstalling the anti-cheat and letting it reinstall.
Secure Boot: On Windows 11, the new anti-cheat bundled with FIFA 23 requires a Secure Boot-enabled system to launch. (Windows 11 needs Secure Boot to install.) Should you launch the game on a Windows 11 machine with Secure Boot turned off, the game crashes on startup with a Security Violation - Secure Boot is not enabled on this machine. This effectively means that you need to enable the feature from within your BIOS in order to play the game. The process differs depending on the board manuacturer.

There is currently no way to bypass the anti-cheat requirement.[2]
There have been further issues surrounding this new anti-cheat solution that has been reported on EA's forums.
Bugs with Pro Clubs have been fixed in patch 2.
